Embedded Software Engineer (d/w/m)
Are you an enthusiastic C/C++ developer and have been working intensively with (embedded) Linux systems for some time, both privately and professionally? Terms such as agile development, cross-development, Yocto, board support packages, IoT, bootloaders, drivers, fieldbus protocols, containers, GPU, VPU, RTOS systems, etc. are part of your standard repertoire and you would like to actively contribute your skills to the development of innovative products based on embedded Linux environments? Are you familiar with other programming and scripting languages?

You will work in small, flexible teams to develop projects and components for customers from all sectors of industry.
Your tasks:
- Development of complex and system-related software and system environments in the embedded Linux environment
- Development of Yocto board support packages and cross-build environments
- Planning, development and support of customer projects
- Management of your projects or smaller teams
- Development and integration of customized software into existing systems
- Porting of (embedded) Linux to customer-specific hardware and development of drivers
- Planning and development of communication protocols, middleware, cloud connections, etc.
- Flexible familiarization with new topics. Regularly changing projects and tasks
Your profile:
- You are a passionate developer and feel ideal as a “hacker”. You have fun with the device and live the creative use of technology.
- You love working under Linux and you live the OpenSource idea.
- You have very good knowledge of the embedded environment and “speak” C/C++ and ideally other (script) languages fluently.
- The more complex a problem, the greater your motivation and curiosity?
- You think entrepreneurially and work independently, agilely and preferably as part of a team.
- Clean and well-documented code and the use of version control systems such as GIT are part of your everyday life.
- You love customer communication and are fluent in written and spoken English and German.
- You are a team player and contribute your own ideas.
