We are committed to promoting art and culture.
Development can also be art: We support the Siegerland Museum in the realization of the world of hearing.
The idea behind the audio world is a system with which every visitor to the museum is provided with headphones at the entrance, which provide an audio accompaniment to the museum visit. Depending on where the visitor moves around the museum, the appropriate audio files are played automatically. These will later offer a variety of different additions to the exhibits. From informative texts to immersion in a painting with background noises and conversations between the people depicted, such a system offers all kinds of possibilities. The system is designed to give visitors a more interactive experience of the exhibition.
We will provide more updates and technical insights into the project soon.
We are delighted to be able to make a contribution to the promotion of art and culture with this project. And not just regionally, as we plan to make the software and hardware available to other museums that are interested in it on an open source basis once development is complete.
